The Floor Store | Flooring Stoke-on-Trent

The Floor Store was opened in March 2008 by Alan and Joanne Murdoch who, after 30 years in flooring experience decided to broaden their horizons to the English city. Their aim then, as it is today, was to provide the local community with genuine advice and support in the evolving hardwood, laminate and eventually LVT market.

In 2013, son in law Chris took over the day to day running after years of commuting to provide a stable and ever-present familiar face (and save the fuel bills!). His attitude of never “selling” only advising continues to this day.

Although the shop has underwent a few face lifts and rearrangements, the fundamental ethos has never changed. We research and locate the best products for all price points and advise every customer on their individual needs. Knowing no two customers have exactly the same requirements means we don’t offer blanket advice, but tailor made for every situation.

Going forward we promise to always live up to this promise and continue to do the best we can for every customer that comes through the door. We are a face-to-face company that personally takes pride in dealing with the individuals, families and generations. We cannot promise to always be cheaper than the mass warehouses on the internet, but we strive to be as close as possible and with our connections and buying practices there are always deals to be had that can’t be found anywhere else.
